Odd temperature controller
This one was in a train in Germany or Switzerland.
When you turn it clockwise, the temperature decreases to the value of '0'. Turning left means increasing the temperature to '1/1'. Why these values? And why does it go from hot to cold?
The thermometers are funny too. Well, red == hot and blue == cold, that makes sense.
